There are seasons in life when everything feels uncertain.
You wake up with questions you cannot answer. You pray about the same things over and over again. You wonder when something will finally change, when the weight will become lighter, or when you will understand why you had to walk through this season in the first place.
Sometimes, the hardest part is not the pain itself.
It is not knowing why.
Why did this happen?
Why did that person leave?
Why did that opportunity disappear?
Why am I still waiting?
Why does everyone else seem to be moving forward while I feel like I am standing still?
And in those moments, it can be easy to believe that God has forgotten about you.
But He hasn’t.
Just because you cannot see what God is doing does not mean He is doing nothing.
Think about how much happens beneath the surface before anything begins to grow.
A seed can spend a long time hidden underground. From the outside, it looks like nothing is happening.
There are no flowers.
No branches.
No visible signs of progress.
But underneath the soil, something is changing.
Roots are forming.
Strength is developing.
Life is preparing to break through.
Maybe your life feels a little like that right now.
Maybe you are in a season where your progress is invisible.
You are praying, trying, learning, healing, growing, and becoming stronger, but you still cannot see the result you have been hoping for.
Do not underestimate what God can do in seasons that feel quiet.
Not every blessing arrives loudly.
Not every breakthrough happens overnight.
Not every prayer is answered in the way we expect.
Sometimes God’s work begins in places nobody else can see.
He may be changing your heart before changing your circumstances.
He may be teaching you patience before giving you the opportunity.
He may be building your character before giving you the responsibility.
He may be removing something because He knows you have been holding onto something that cannot follow you into your next season.
And sometimes, what feels like rejection is actually redirection.
What feels like a delay may be preparation.
What feels like losing your way may be the beginning of finding a completely different path.
That does not mean difficult moments suddenly become easy.
Faith does not mean pretending everything is fine.
You are allowed to feel tired.
You are allowed to have questions.
You are allowed to cry.
You are allowed to tell God that you do not understand.
Prayer does not require perfect words.
Sometimes prayer sounds like:
“God, I don’t know what to do.”
Sometimes it sounds like:
“Please give me strength for today.”
And sometimes there are no words at all.
Only silence.
But even there, God knows your heart.
So if you are waiting for something today, remember that waiting is not the same as being forgotten.
If one door closed, remember that your story did not end at that door.
If someone walked away, remember that your worth did not walk away with them.
If your plans changed, remember that a different path can still lead somewhere beautiful.
And if you feel behind, remember that your life does not have to follow somebody else’s timeline.
You do not need to understand the entire journey today.
You only need enough faith for the next step.
One prayer.
One decision.
One morning.
One day at a time.
There may come a day when you look back at this season and finally understand why certain things had to happen differently.
You may realize that the unanswered prayer protected you.
That the closed door redirected you.
That the waiting strengthened you.
That the difficult season taught you something comfort never could.
And perhaps you will realize that God was never absent.
He was there in the waiting.
He was there in the disappointment.
He was there when you started again.
He was there when nobody knew how much you were struggling.
He was there when you almost gave up.
And He is still there now.
So keep going.
Keep praying.
Keep believing.
Keep choosing hope, even when hope feels small.
You are not at the end of your story.
There are still prayers you have not seen answered.
There are still people you have not met.
There are still places you have not been.
There are still moments that will remind you why you kept going.
God is still writing your story.
And maybe this chapter isn’t about having all the answers.
Maybe it’s about learning to trust the One who already knows how the story continues. 🤍
